Android 2.3 O.S. 9.7 Inch Tablet…That seemed to be promising, but became a dissapointment. PLEASE NOTE: The projections about this tablet where inspiring, but technical problems are surfacing, which usually can be rectified fast with proper cooperation, but major support neglect is a real killer for any product. More at http://Aoson-M19.info .
First off, the AOSON M19 is lacking factory support. and that is a real shame, and unfortunately many complaints in forums are really not beneficial either. So the Aoson is falling out of favor rather quickly.
Other than that, the AOSON M19. This tablet is powered by a Rockchip RK2918 1.2 GHz processor [VIDEO here], which was given 1GB fast DDR3 ROM memory, and a dedicated graphics engine.
On top of that, the M19 also comes with the more advanced Android 2.3 O.S., facilitating video chat and smoother playing movies with Flash 11, amongst many other improvements.
Now, that’s great, but not really a technical miracle or achievement, but there’s more.
The M19 includes a massive 16GB of storage, is dressed with the most advanced IPS 5 Point Capacity Screen.
Two cameras, maximum range sensitive WiFi, Bluetooth, and all tucked neatly in one of the slimmest (9.41 x 7.24 x 0.37 Inch) lightweight (1.14lbs) aluminum magnesium alloy bodies of any tablet PC.
The M19 was also optimized in many other aspects to achieve the highest user experience. The UI is like that of the Android 3.0 O.S. with the new “360° circle unlock,” instead of the traditional “slide unlock”. Sensational features where also added to the menu structure.
The standard M19 can be updated to 3G via a 3G USB dongle, but a built in 3G version is available as well. The thinnest part of the unit is only 3.3mm, the M19 only weights 520g, and that with a massive 8000mAH battery.
December 30th 2011 ~ Aoson M19 Options Update
Since there is such a variance of claimed options availability from different vendors, and since by grace of the gavarsaki story we found out who the manufacturer is, we contacted them. After receiving an email from a nice lady Helen with details and images, we engaged in a Skype chat session, and in both instances the following was learned…
- Built-In 3G has not yet been produced, so anyone claiming they have it is not telling you the truth. However 3G operation is available with an USB 3G dongle.
- Bluetooth is optional, but is not yet available, unless one orders 1,000 units.
- With the screen specifications we also learned a minor difference, that it is 5 point IPS instead of a 10 point IPS.
- For my question about the colors available, only one color was the answer, and instead mentioning the color specifically I was sent 2 images for that color, and they have been added to the store .
I will update as options become available, and in the meantime hope to have corrected as much as possible. The Asoson M19 is available at the Clever Members Online Store, and no membership is required.
PLEASE NOTE: Currently there are unresolved Issues wit the Aoson M19

Boedoetzis it true that RK2918 is dual core?
How long the battery can last?
Posted On
Dec 25, 2011Posted By
Super-ModNegative,
The RK2918 is a single core 1.2GHz processor, and thank you for pointing that out.
More about the RK2918 and a video at this page.
For most up to date specs please click here and then on the "Specifications" tab.
How long a Battery last depends on many variables. How long is the tablet used for games, the most processor intense use, watching movies, surfing the Internet. But I'm sure you understand that an 8oooMAh battery is going to last you twice as longer under the same operating conditions as a 4000MAh unit.

Verdell RiedI have to say that I respectfully disagree with a number of this data as I have a whole lot of experience in the matter, but I think you may have nonetheless created some very good factors.

Dec 28, 2011Posted By
Super-ModDear Verdell
I sincerely thank you for your pointing out discrepancies, and I can cheerfully accept that, because realistically nothing in life is ever 100%, and I’m no exception at that.
However, I’m constantly aiming to narrow the gap by learning, and this is where you comment is sincerely appreciated. As such, would you please be so kind and substantiate on your “disagree with a number of this data.” We can learn even more from disagreements, but only when the issues are fully transparent.
Vagueness carries no weight (it's actually a spammers trademark), or provides any credibility, nor can anyone address or correct any of the “number of dada” you disagree with.
So please let us have it, and I’m looking forward not only in learning from your “whole lot of experience in the matter,” but also in making the necessary corrections. And as a small token of appreciation I approved the link to your site, permanent if we have a dialog.

GregI read recently that the specs for this M19 are incorrect. They say it has bluetooth support but apparently it does not. Can you confirm this as I have one on it's way to me now and I also purchased a bletooth keyboard for it.

Super-ModHi Greg,
Unfortunately they say a lot of things in China, distributors and sellers alike, just to get the order. We just got the score from the factory and updated the blog and the CleverMembers.com store, and the M19 video with the most up to date information.
Direct questions are handled from our help desk via chat, ticket or phone for our customers, but please feel free to browse the mentioned sources for the most up to date information on the M19. Good luck.

Greg LynesHello – I have been doing some research on this M19 tablet from around the net and I am getting conflicting specs posted. Can you clear some of this up for me?
- Does the M19 have working bluetooth right out of the box?
- Is the screen actually an IPS screen right out of the box?
- Is it wifi "N" capable or only B&G capable?
- Will it work with a 3G dongle now?
– or all of these dependent on a future update from Aoson? (which could be a problem because I can't even find a web site for them)?
Posted On
Dec 30, 2011Posted By
Super-ModPlease read the "December 30th 2011 ~ Aoson M19 Options Update"
I'm sure you should get future updates from the vendor you bought from. They should have the same access to factory engineering and upload to their own server and notify their customers.
At least we do that, except we test the patch first so our customers don't have to take a chance to brick their unit, before we provide the download with instructions, or a video.

Super-ModHello jorge,
Unfortunately for lack of factory support we no longer handle the Aoson M19, and in case you bought the M19 from us we grant an exchange for a better 9.7″ tablet, and all you need to do is log-in to your account and request an exchange from within your order. Otherwise contact the vendor you bought you unit from, and if they are a decent operation I’m sure they’ll have a solution.
If you bought from an offshore vendor, then you’re most likely out of luck, and you only option will be that long Do It Yourself haul to seek a solution at various forums. Good luck, and sorry to not have better news.

Super-ModThanks whatwells for the heads up!
I’m sure almost anyone could improve my copy, or modify it at least a bit not to be duplicate content. I’m sure the “best-deals-for-u” character could have accomplish that as well, but perhaps was too lazy.
Anyhow, I emailed this eBay user a little notch, just to find out if he’s just lazy or too dim-witted to comprehend the implications he’s inviting.

i hate guys like that.

Super-ModDear Ccosta,
I translated your post and it seems that “you have shopped for bottom line price,” and are now stuck wasting a lot of time looking all over the net for answers and help from others, because the folks you bought from don’t have the technical qualifications, or are just focusing on selling at the lowest price.
As such, you got what you paid for, and saved a few bucks, but are now wasting a lot of your time to seek help from others. This is typical and you’re not the only one, but I hope your time is worth less then the savings of your purchase. Otherwise you’re now witnessing… “when something sounds too good to be true… it probably is”
Please feel free to comb through our material, and if you’d post in English perhaps some guest will post suggestions, because we just don’t have the infrastructure to become a service center for unassociated bargain sellers.
I’m sure you can relate to that, and I hope that it all works out for you in the end, and that perhaps you leaned a valuable lessen.

Super-ModHello Budi,
Thank you for your heads up on the Aoson M19.
I don’t know how true that is, as they claim the unit comes with 2x 4000mAH batteries, but since the manufacturer has become non-responsive to customer support, I wonder what they are hiding from. It reveals how clueless they really are, because nothing is more damaging for a company than that.
Anyhow, I’m doing my part and it starts at this page: http://Aoson-M19.info, and then leads to the freshly installed forum, and time permitting I’ll create a video for it as well.
In the meantime I’ll keep the item in the store for SEO purposes, but certainly will not recommend this product at this time. I’m sure they will eventually resolve all the issues for this otherwise fabulous tablet, but unfortunately a bad reputation is another story altogether.

MAY YANG
The product does NOT MATCH with the description. It has 5 contact points instead of 10. The thickness and the weight are bigger. The battery is not 8000mAh. It is impossible because it can work only for 2 or 3 hours.
Jorge T.
the tablet is good but the baterie is not 8000AH, it is 5500AH is poor.4 hours lasting.
Javier C.
The battery had to be 8000 mAh and is of much smaller capacity. Do not give me a chance to fix the issue except to return the product.

Super-ModHello Uzair,
Sorry about your problems, but we stopped selling the Aososn M19 because we could not get any support from this manufacturer, that produced a tablet that could really use support badly.
Keep posting in forums and perhaps someone solved a similar issue. Good luck!
